Green Finance Platform and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Finance professionals have an important role to play in delivering a green and just recovery. This can be done by managing the risks associated with transitioning to low-carbon economies, mitigating the impacts on biodiversity, engaging with companies on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and, ultimately, accounting for the sustainability impacts of their financial activities. To achieve this, the financial professional services industry needs to be better equipped with the right education and training in order to mainstream green finance knowledge and skills.
 
This joint Green Finance Platform and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) webinar explores the increasing need for the finance sector to develop new capabilities through relevant education and training in green finance principles and practice.
