On 7 December 2020 at 11 am CET, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) is organising a webinar on "The state of EU environmental disclosure in 2020".
CDSB has recently released a report examining the environmental disclosures of the largest listed companies in the EU. The aim of the event is to discuss the state of EU Environmental Disclosure in 2020 and the current landscape of non-financial reporting in Europe.
EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness will speak on the role of sustainable finance and corporate reporting in the economic recover from the COVID-19 crisis and the achievement of a European Capital Markets Union.
Patrick De Cambourg, Chair of the EFRAG project taskforce on Preparatory Work for the Elaboration of Possible EU Non-Financial Reporting Standards, will provide an update on the development of the European Non-Financial Reporting Standard.
